Our History:
More than 20 years of competence in fastening technology
REC® was originally founded as owner-managed company by Mr. Bernhard Reck, graduate engineer. It was founded as „Reck Engineering, Ingenieurbüro für Verbindungstechnik GmbH in Breidenbach-Achenbach, Germany in 1998. Two years later the company moved to ist new-built company building placed at Maurerstrasse 1 in Breidenbach, Germany. This company address is still the headquarter of the whole REC® group.
In 2002 the business partnership was set up with May-Mizu Fasteners Pte Ltd. Singapore.
2006: In this year the company was renamed REC® solutions in fastening technology. And just one year later the company was splitted in: REC® Fastening GmbH (Research), REC® Engineering GmbH and REC® Consulting GmbH.
2008: The company REC® France France S.à.r.l in Dambach la Ville, France, was founded as first sales office of the REC® group.
Expertise from which you also benfit
2010: the testing range in our testing laboratory was expanded to torques up to 2000 Nm and forces until 1 MN.
In 2014 the REC® Academy GmbH & Co. KG was founded in order to create a neutral meeting point for interested specialists in the area of fastening technology. The building of our REC® Academy - where trainings, seminars and workshops take place - is located at Feldstrasse 13, Bad Laasphe, Germany.
2018: The REC® group expanded again. A new and modern production site – the “REC® Manufaktur” was set up at Maurerstrasse 2, Breidenbach, Germany.
Our primary corporate objective of the brand REC® – then and now – is to achieve the highest level of customer satisfaction with regard to the development and implementation of optimized solutions in the field of fastening technology.
We attach great importance to the synergies with our customers, but also within our company. For example: our employees who are working for REC® Research can also give talks and presentations – at any time – in the REC® Academy. Our experts working for REC® Engineering are trained to assist and work easily with the engineers from REC® Research. We keep an overview of your fastening technology at all times.
