REC® - Engineering develops and manufactures customer- specific test benches and measuring systems for quality assurance, production monitoring and research and development. Anyone who develops new products and wants to continuously monitor their quality and processes cannot avoid a high-performance test system from REC® Engineering.

We develop individual torque, force and coefficient of friction test stands, as well as hand-held measuring wrenches that are tailored and adapted to the needs of our customers.

REC® Fastener Test Benches

Our range of bolt test benches and measuring equipment for torque analyses, angle of rotation analyses, preload force analyses and coefficient of friction (CoF) determination:

FAST-Series:
Stationary fastener test benches for the determination of torque-, rotation angle-, and preload force curves of bolts and nuts. In the foreground of our FAST series is our innovative multi- component measuring system for the synchronous determination of preload forces and partial torques in order to analyse coefficients of friction. Always in combination with our measuring- and analysis software MESStec proWIN.

Range of Performance:

  • Total torque: 0,001 Nm - 2000 Nm
  • Thread Torque: 0,3 Nm - 1000 Nm
  • Preload Force: 0,3 kN - 750kN.
  • Sampling Rates up to 10.000 Hz.

FASTmobile-Series:
Mobile fastener test benches for the determination of torque-, rotation angle-, and preload force curves of bolts and nuts. In the focus of our FASTmobile series is mobility paired with the precision of our stationary FAST- series.
Range of performance:

  • Total torque: 0,001 Nm - 2000 Nm
  • Thread Torque: 0,3 Nm - 1000 Nm
  • Preload Force: 0,3 kN - 750kN.
  • Sampling Rates up to 10.000 Hz.

FASTportable-Series:
High-resolution, hand-held measuring wrenches to determine torque and rotation angle or force curves. Combined with a modern industrial tablet PC and the REC MESStec proWIN software, this system is ideally suited for determining breakaway- and prevail torques.
Range of performance:

  • Total Torque: 0,1 Nm - 750 Nm
  • Rotation angle resolution < 0,0125°
  • Sampling Rates up to 10.000 Hz.

REC® Sensors

REC® Sensors, whether torque-, force- or multi component sensors are characterised by their high measuring accuracy. Compatible to all REC® measuring amplifiers.

Rotating torque sensors:

High precision, rotating torque sensors using contactless signal transmission. With integrated rotation angle measurement by default.

Available drives: 1/4“ Hexagon DIN3126, Square 1/4“ - 1 1/2“, as well as cylindrical shafts. Measuring ranges from 0,001 Nm – 2000 Nm, Rotation angle resolution 0,25°. Accuracy class: 0,1% of full-scale value respectively. Special measuring ranges possible on request.

Including factory calibration certificate according to DIN EN ISO 10012 or DAkkS DIN 51309.


Static torque sensors:

High precision, static torque sensors. Available drives: Square 1/4“ - 1 1/2“, flange connection as well as cylindrical shafts. Measuring ranges from 0,001 Nm – 2000 Nm. Accuracy class: 0,05% or 0,1% of full-scale value respectively. Special measuring ranges possible on request.

Including factory calibration certificate according to DIN EN ISO 10012 or DAkkS DIN 51309.

 

Force Sensors:

High precision force sensors, suitable for your individual test setup. Depending on the existing installation position and installation space, we supply the appropriate force sensor. Measuring ranges from 0,01 kN – 750 kN. Accuracy class: 0,2% or 0,5% of full-scale value respectively. Special measuring ranges possible on request.

Including factory calibration certificate according to DIN EN ISO 10012 or DAkkS 376:2011-09.

Multi component coefficient of friction measuring sensors:

High precision multi-component COF measuring sensors from REC® Engineering feature the lowest crosstalk behaviour on the market proven by the PTB Braunschweig.

Available in following sizes: BG1 15Nm/15kN, BG1 30Nm/30kN, BG2 250Nm/250kN, BG3 1000Nm/750kN. Accuracy class: 0,2% of full-scale value respectively.

Handheld torque measuring wrenches:

High precision handheld torque measuring wrenches with integrated rotational angle recording. The measuring wrenches were developed for the simple and highly- accurate determination of breakaway-, prevail- and loosening torques. Available in following torque ranges: 0,1Nm - 5Nm / 0,5Nm - 25Nm / 2Nm - 100Nm / 5Nm - 250Nm / 15Nm - 750Nm / Rotational Angle Resolution < 0,0125° / Sampling rates up to 10.000 Hz.

Accuracy class 0,2% of full-scale value respectively.

Wireless bluetooth torque measuring wrench REC® FAST wireless
Wireless handheld torque measuring wrench FAST wireless with bluetooth technology. Sampling rates adjustable up to 2,400Hz / angular resolution <0.025° / accuracy 0.2%. LCD display 1.7" for displaying current measured values, actual and maximum values, limit values, charge display and connection status.
Operating times with charged battery: 8 to 10 hours
Available in the following measuring ranges: 0.1Nm - 5Nm / 0.5Nm - 25Nm / 2Nm - 100Nm / 5Nm - 250Nm / 10Nm - 500Nm.

REC® Measuring devices

REC® Measuring devices are pre-assembled for the connection with REC® Sensors. The data transfer is implemented by the REC® MESStec proWIN Software

2 Channel Measuring amplifier REC® port2:

High resolution 2 channel measuring system REC® port2 for recording a maximum of 2 channels synchronously. The REC® MESStec proWIN is engaged as measurement- and analysis software. Sampling rates up to 2400 Hz synchronous per channel.

 

4 Channel Measuring amplifier REC® port4:

High resolution 4 channel measuring system REC® port4 for recording a maximum of 4 channels synchronously. The REC® MESStec proWIN is engaged as measurement and analysis software. Sampling rates up to 9.600 Hz synchronous per channel.

8 Channel Measuring amplifier REC® port8:
High resolution 8 channel measuring system REC® port8 for recording a maximum of 8 channels synchronously. The REC® MESStec proWIN is engaged as measurement and analysis software. Sampling rates up to 9.600 Hz synchronous per channel.

REC® µOHM measuring system for electrical contact resistance
Resistance measuring system for determining electrical contact resistances on fastener joints. Four-wire measuring technology with a measuring range of
5µΩ - 1mΩ. Can be integrated into any REC® test bench, can be used in stationary or mobile applications, programmable current load from 1 A to 10 A, including a factory calibration certificate.
In conjunction with the REC® port4 or port8 measuring amplifiers, the REC®µ-Ohm resistance measuring system can also be used to record torques, preload forces and angles of rotation synchronously during the screwing process.
This allows the mechanical and electrical characteristics of a bolted connection to be analyzed and evaluated with high precision. The expanded REC® MESStec proWIN serves as the measurement and analysis software.

Measurement and analysis software REC®MESStec proWIN
Measurement and analysis software REC® MESStec proWIN for recording and evaluating measurement data. Developed for Windows 10, 64 Bit the software is used in all REC® test benches and measuring systems.

 

The storage of test plans, various evaluation modules, calculation of the coefficients of friction, single and multi-graph displays, an interface to Microsoft Excel and much more make the MESStec proWIN software an efficient software tool for every user.

We offer factory and DAkkS calibrations to our customers for all our REC® Sensors and measuring wrenches. In addition, we make machine capability studies for all electric screwdrivers installed in our test benches. As special service, we offer calibrations of torque sensors directly at your location.
